2002 Shrimping Reports
01/03, riverbreeze, wind NW@12-40 deg., 2 gallons, Usually put in @ Lopez but tonight i thought what the hell I'll save a few bucks and goto Riverbreeze.put in at around 6:00 p.m. motored up to a fav. spot and set up.got about 2 gal. before 12 and decided to call the night. when i tried to start the motor she wasn't having It,tried for 30 minutes still couldn't get it so paddled into Lopez and started the three mile walk to Riverbreeze. An hour later and 2-1/2 miles my buddy and I turn onto the entrance to Riverbreeze and 100 yds. down the road we see the blue lights reflecting in the trees in front of us so we turn and sure enough it is Oak Hill's finest! after explaining what we were doing walking the dark streets of Oak hill at midnight the officer was sympathetic to our cause,he ran our names through teletype, made sure that we were not escaped psychiatric patients and then he drove us down to our truck. An experience that I truly do not want to repeat so I think I'll stick to lopez from now on! Fshbonz
01/04, Lopez, wind NW@5-48 deg. 4-1/2, started the night at dusk, put in at Lopez tonight got out to our spot and was set up by 7:30,new that we had missed the tide changing but figured we would still do good and I was right.I dipped a dozen nice ones while I was holding the anchor waitng for my partner to drop his.got a good 4-1/2 gal. could have made it to 5 but they slowed down around 12:30 so we called it a night. Fshbonz This report didn't get to me till 1/7
1/5, Riverbreeze marker 75, calm cold water temp mid 50s, 1 quart, started at the tide change at 7 dipped till 11:30 scattered shrimp. Only got a few in the boxnet that was deep. Dave First report of the year Thank you Dave for your participation
1/5, 7:00-midnight, Riverbreeze, No wind, 55 deg, Almost 3 gal, Dipped most of the shrimp from 7:00 - 10:00, mostly large. A lot of shrimp on the top, unlike last week. Never really fast, but often enough to keep it interesting. Current never got going fast. Great night on the water! Doug
1/5, Lopez, calm 55 degrees, 2.5 gallons, it was slow and barely any caught in the frame net. FWC was out and checking boats. He had a few nets on his boat and will warn you if they catch you without a licence or caught trolling and dipping he will add your nets to his collection. Dipped till 2 am and tried HC but all that was running was jellyfish. Anyone have a jellyfish recipe? Jethro
1/05/02, rb, cool/no wind, 1 1/2gals, I have never seen so many boats puttin in at the same time.Reminded me of a turniment at canaveral.Went way south of our usual spot to avoid the croud.whoever the ass is with the bud ice and cig butts keep them in the boat numb nutts!netted three cans and about 30 buts[ass].got 3 shrimp in the box net the rest we dipped all large to jumbo.stayed till about 12:00 then fought the croud at the ramp[again]hint/teach your wife to drive the truck or the boat it will help with the clog up at the ramp.I miss the mid week early tide change.SHRIMPON.CUZZYDOO
1/5/02, Riverbreeze, wind west temp 5, 3 gal. med. lg. few jumbos, Great nite. The current never got flowing very fast. I'm sure the wind played a big roll in that. Ginzo
1/5/02, Titusville pier, Titusville pier from 9:30pm to 1:30 am. There were from 8-15 folks out, but nobody pulled in any. tecke
1/5, 1/2 mile south of Riverbreeze, nice about 55 degrees calm wind, 1 gallon med/larg a few jumbos, We got the water in around 6:30-7:00.There were a lot of boats. All in all it was a great night. We also dipped 6 beer cans. My wife did a great job with the truck and it saved us time. See you all next weekend. Diana & Greg.
1/5, Lopez, wind NW@5-52 deg. 3 gallons, Once again we got there at dusk and was set up on the water early, tonight a few of my buds were on the water with us.Anchored deep and started dippin an hour after dark. did O.K. got 3 gal., I think that the amount of boats that got in front of had a little to do with a smaller catch. No matter had a good night anyway. Now I would like to take the time to thank Jethro for this page and also for the E-mail's that I get from him,Hat's off Jethro, also would like to take another second to damn the people that cannot take care of the enviroment. For two nights I have seen BUSCH beer cans floating by, I have scooped the ones that I could and put them in my boat since the a#@holes that are drinking them cannot find room for them.If you are going to be on the water enjoy it NOT DESTROY IT!!I personally am sick of litterbugs on the water and I know that I'm not alone. So if you know me and my buds and our boats you'll keep your trash in your boat! If not you may very well find yourself hanging onto one of those nasty BUSCH cans as you ponder the reason why your ass is floating down the river!! Fshbonz
1/5/02, 9:00pm, Key Biscayne, 2nd bridge by Univ. Miami, Windy,
Cloudy, Mild Temperatures, 2 gallons, Seemed to pick up at the tail end of the
outgoing tide around 9:00pm. Slowed at slack tide, then picked up again as the
tide began to come in. Then slowed to a stop about half way of incoming tide.
Pretty crowded with Lots of Spanish and Dance music and Beer. People selling
food. Felt like a Party. Left around 10:30-11pm when the shrimping seemed to
stop. Aaron

01/11/02, Riverbreeze, 68 deg 2-8 mph west wsw wind, 1 Gallon,
Borrowed a friends "Reliable" boat and made it to the ramp at 0220 hrs. Boat
sputtered once and died thus nearly ending a beautiful night after the
thunderstorms had passed. Almost loaded up and went home because only one paddle
doesnt work well in current. I noticed some shrimp moving about 15-20 ft out
from the dock so we tied up and used the anchor to pull us out into the channel
a bit. Maybe slightly illegal but the hour long drive made us take desparate
measures. Ended up with about a gallon of mostly medium to large. Better than
nothing. Until next week. Dirty Howie
1/12/2002 - 09:30 to 11:30, RiverBreeze, 40 shrimp, we shrimped the incoming

Jan 17th, Riverbreeze, 60 slight breeze, 1/2 gallon med to large, anchored 125 yards south of marker75 to avoid having someone anchor in front of me seemed to work this time tho shrimpin was kinda slow..Seems like the guys that are anchored in the middle of the channel do better.(I guess they are above thr law)I have heard that guys really kill the shrimp at bluehole around the corner from marker 65..Maybe it's not so maddening over their..I live in indian harbor estates on a canal so it is easy to go during the week and aviod the crowds but I am going tonight 18th maybe south by Lopez..Watch fer the lil green barge.Stop by and say hello. with JohnB and caught mostly large and mediums. It will be crowded there this
weekend, be courtious and refrain from anchoring infront of others and watch
them anchor lines and framenets! I asked others what they caught and got 1.5 to
3.5 gallon reports. Jethro
1/24 8PM-2:30AM, Riverbreeze, south of ramp, gusty early but calm later in the night, 2 gallons, Buddy boated with Jethro. Had an enjoyable evening made better by catching some shrimp. Water clarity was good but at times was cloudy. Let us hope the run continues along with the nice temps. Jim

Thursday 24 8 pm - 2:30 am, 1/12 mi south of Riverbreeze ramp, calm, 70s, 3/4
gallon, At 8pm, the tide was trickling out and ran very strong from 10-11:30 and
continued to flow even until I left at 2:30 am. It was slow going at first, a
shrimp every 3 or 4 min, and some of those critters escaped my nets. The best
run lasted from 1:30-2:30 am when they came about a shrimp a minute. Plumber
1/25 8pm till 12 ;30 am ...two shrimp at the railroad bridge and one
shrimp at haulover........................wind changed from southwest to north
northeast in about 2 hrs. the edge of the front must have pushed through. Also
the outgoing tide flowed west at haulover ...not a good thing for shrimpin
there. dave & rich
1/26/02, Riverbreese, chilly, 8-shrimp, We got there about 8:30, shrimped till 4:30. We got 2 jumbos and 6 med. It was alittle windy and cool. But all in all it was a nice night. See you out there next week end.Diana & Greg
01/26/02, Oak Hill, Cool & damp, 1/4 gallon, What happened to all the buckets everyone was getting earlier in the week? Drove up from M.I. and had everything set up around 11:00 for the midnight tide change. First jumbo came under the boat at 1:30 and then about ine every ten minutes from then on. Dipped till 3:30 and got about two dozen nice sized shrimp. Missed about as many as I captured. Shrimp cocktail for me and the kids watching the football playoffs yesterday. I want to go next weekend but don't want to make the haul if the srimp aren't going to be there. What gives? Scott
1/27/02, lopez, 64degrees ,n wind, 3 gallons, got to lopez around 12:45 was kinda slow but I think we were in a bad spot, only got about 25 ,after about 2 hours we moved close to the channel(not in)and we could barley keep up they were comming so fast, dipped solid for the next 1 1/2 hours and got about 3 gallons. Was a great night out!see you out there! leatherman

1/28/02, Oakhill, 70s calm wind, 2 1/2 plus,
Got to the ramps at eleven and backed my buddy's boat in where i promptly
dropped the trailer off the end of the ramp. After we got down to our skivvies
and into the water[ which was pretty chilly) we had to solicit help from the
locals. Thanks to the country boy who broke his snatch rope and who finally
saved us with some good ol fashion elbow grease. Anyway, tide started moving
about 12:45am and the shrimpin was pretty good but the larges and jumbos we got
last week were pretty much nonexistant. Overall it was a good night. Two of my
buddies did about as well in their boat even though it was a maiden voyage for
their new box net. Once the ol twig and berries dried out it was a nice evening.
till next week Dirty Howie
01/28/02, River Breeze Park, calm & Chilly But Just Fine, 5 gallons, As we were getting ready to dock our boat into the water there were four guys trying sooooo hard to get there boat and trailer out of the water there trailer was completley off the dock in the water so in other words they were pretty much swcrewed so we felt bad and helped our fellow shrimpin buddies and put in some good fashion elbow greese in and helped them out the shimp were running good for a late tide we got our limit in about 3 hours or so alls well that ends well good luck to all the fellow shrimpers Buzz
Jan 30 930p-300amHaulover, Little over 1 gallon, Sons home on leave, decided to take him and friend shrimping. Tide too late at RB so we decided to give the canal a shot. Water was slow moving the whole night and stopped at about 2am. Slow picked the whole evening. Snookman
1-31, RiverBreeze, 63 SE clear, 3
gallons,Dipped from about 7:30 till tide slacked around 10 sm,med some large.I
think FWC need to be out their every night busting folks anchored in the
channel..It's a bunch of BS when ya have to weave through boats to get down or
up the channel..HA HA to those who get tickets for it..See yer not above the law
Gump
1/31 dark until 10:30, Railroad Bridge - Titusville, light se, 70, 1/32, Nice
night - except shrimp were not running. Set up right at dark. Light SE wind -
water flow slightly to the South - guess it was backing up. Lots of jelly fish
and tons of small trout. Caught maybe 2 cocktails. What a waste of time - guess
you can't catch em sittin on the couch. Talked to some guys that did pretty good
there 2 weeks ago 3 nights in a row. I went to Haulover one night that week (new
moon) and caught 10. Shrimping has sucked - as far as consistency goes - for the
last 2-3 years at Titusville and Haulover - What ever is screwin with the
manatees and porpoise must be messin with the shrimp too. Probably NASA
polluting again. Scott
1/31/02, Railroad Bridge, Clear/Warm/Light SE, 0, First, I want to agree with
the comments about the over zealous FWC. A few months back I got an open
container ticket from one of these nimrods while driving on a trail in the north
end of the Indian River. Not only did I get the ticket, I was given a field
sobriety test even though I obviously wasn't intoxicated and had my truck
thoroughly searched inside and out. If they wanted to hand out tickets and
harrass everybody enjoying a cold one after some wade fishing while driving on
one of these trails they wouldn't have time for anything else. Let's write these
guys and let them know we appreciate their work in protecting some of our
greatest natural resources, but at the same time we wish that their officers
could learn to use a little common sense while still enforcing the laws.
Beyond that, the shrimping at the Railroad bridge has been slow all week.
Jason
2/1/02, River Breeze, wind SE, 3 gallons, After skillfully avoiding the disaster
on I-95 using my cat-like speed and agility I thought we would have to do so
again as that Cruiser started to push and shove his way up the channel last
night.Lips paniced and pulled anchor.Knew that was going to happen. Looking up
those 40ft sides was a little hair raising though.Where was Paco Valcario? Must
of got stuck in trafic!LOL. NO FWC FOR ME! You boys keep distracting them over
your way! I'm enjoying the break! Ran a little slow but not a bad night at
all.Good Luck.
The Dip Daddy
2/1/02 went out friday nite at about 6:30.
as soon as it got dark we started neting shrimp. By 9:00 we had the boat washed
up, cover on and stared pulling heads off 5 gallons. North of Oak Hill. there
were a few other boats around, all dipping. It was great.
2/1 6:30-10:00, Riverbreeze, Warm, south wind, 3.5, Got set up at 6:00, shrimp
started running hard right dark (between 6:30 and 7:00)until about 8:00. Strong
south wind died down & shrimping slowed, but still steady until about 10:00.
About 2 gal dipping, 1.5 in the net. Great night on the water...very crowded.
Please remember to be COURTEOUS when anchoring and not anchor right in front of
and on top of someone thats dipping well! Doug
2/2/02, RB, strong north wind, chilly, 1gallon, We put in at our secret spot and there were 75 people putting in there. I guess Cooper let the sercret out. Really windy, kindof cold, dipped about a gallon. Zero for box net, it got fouled up. Where are all these people from? Shrimp on, I'll be there tonight. Cuzzy Doo
02/02/2002, Key Largo Cut, Dead Calm, outgoing tide, 78 degrees, 5 gallons, I have been fishing for most of my life and done a little dip neting hear and there but I never saw a shrimp rum like I experience that night. We set up on the edge of key largo cut just prior to dark. We put out a frame net and about 20 minutes later it was like someone had opened the shrimp gates. We had our five gallons in about five minutes. There was millions of shrimp!! But the run only lasted about an hour. If I hadn't even taken one shrimp just the sight of that may shrimp was worth the trip. Can't wait for the next full moon. Oh by the way these shrim were all medium to super jumbo Snapper Bill
2/2/02, OakHill, Windy, 4 gallons, After another killer BBQ Gary Redfish and I hungout on the dock and dipped til we dropped. Salty
2/2/2002 (7:00PM - 9:45pm), South of RiverBreeze, Stiff Wind from the North, 4 Gals, Great numbers, small size. The tide was not very strong where we were. JohnB
2/4/02, Oakhill, west wind @ 5-10mph 55 degrees, 1 quart, Just
not running and very few boats too. I know there will be better days. A tug was
reported to run aground due to ignorant shrimpers blocking the channel near
Lopez. I will call them lucky not to have lost their lives but now Im sure there
will be more law enforcement there in the coming days. Keep your self legal or
your trip will cost you! Jethro
2-4-02, Riverbreeze, Windy, 50-55, 1 gallon, A chilly night and a lot of work. They were running deep. Hard to see and with the surface rippled, even harder. Had my lights down at 5 foot. Mostly small and medium with a few dozen large. Jim and Linda
2-4-02 1930 til 0030, RiverBreeze 1/2 mile east of ramp 11 ft, cooolllll 5-10 from the ne 45 deg, 4 gals 2 in the box and 2 dipped, Jethro it was cool and everyone left about 930 when the tug came through, and then they started running deep. we braved the cold and it paid off and the biggest was approx 8in long and thank god for friends with box nets. whats going on with haulover any thing running there? til next week. Melbourne Mark HC is slow as molasses Mark
02/05/02 8pm to 1245 am, Riverbreeze, 60 deg NE wind calm to 8mph, 3 Gal, Got set up at 8pm and waited for the tide which finally started doing something about 9pm. Fist hour was real slow then we got blitzkreiged. Shrimp ran pretty hard for about 2 hours and then slowed to a trickle for the next hour or so. About 35% small with a lot of mediums and a few dozen larges. Only got about 2 doz jumbos. Thank god we didnt have to deal with the nasty weather on monday. I couldnt believe how nice it was. Didnt take much to work up a sweat. Made sure I didnt drop the trailer off the end of the ramp this time. Till next week.Dirty Howie
2/5/02, lopez, clear-windy-good current, 2 gallons, arrrived at 6 and started dipping about 7:30. After the change of tide they ran hard for awhile, then went steady until 2 am when we left. dipped 2 gallons. I guesss some of the peaple out there have no respect for boating and space? The guy with the front mount stearing was running around full speed buy other boats and us. And then another set up so close that I could touch him with my net. There alot of room out there guys, lets use it. Dave
02/06/02, Riverbrezze, 10mph and gusts to 25mph, 1 Gal. Got there at 9:00pm Shirmped till 1:30am All the shrimp were large with about 20 jumbos. They were still running when me an my son left. Got all I needed for fishing this morning. Tough choice.Should I stay or should I go? Fishing it will be. Ginzo

there and we were the second to give up.

2/9/01 12:00am, RiverBreeze, Mild wind from SW, 25 shrimp, First time shrimping at Oak Hill so got there early to familarize myself with the water. Setup at Lighted marker # 7 right outside Riverbreeze ramp and ancored just east of channel and waited. We must have choosen a good spot as in no time they're were boats all around us, some ancored right in the middle of channel. Started dipping at around 11:30 but water was murky and shrimp were running deep. Looked like those ancored in the channel were dipping pretty frequently unlike us, so we moved into the edge of channel as well. We caught 25 shrimp and most of them small. Not much like all the stories I had heard about Oakhill ,but it was fun. Will try again on Full Moon. Pingu
New moon 2/12 @ 11:45, RR Bridge, North Wind 10-15, 65 Degrees, 2 dozen medium to large, Arrived at about 7:30 and there were about ten boats. FWC was doing "Safety Checks" on evryone when we got there. (Funny how they don't do those "Safety Checks" during the day). Had a horrible time anchoring, took me about twenty minutes to set up. Shimp were slow all night long, just far enough apart that you couldn't get comfortable in your seat. Maybe more shrimp will show up when the moon fills out. E-Dogg
2/18/02, Shrimp started running here at Le Fills Fish Camp last night. The tide only ran until 9;45 - 10;00pm but some got 3-4 gallons in that short time. The wind was strong out of the north but that did'nt seem to make any difference.I had to go out and just got back [9;00pm ] But will give them hell tomorrow night. The biggest catches seemed to be gotten about 80yds south of the 9a marker but I'm partial to the west side across the channel from marker 9a. Anyway thats it from the FISHKILLER.
2/18 7pm til 9:30pm, S of Riverbreeze, Cold, upper 40's, calm
early, windy late, 3, Great night even though it was cold. When the action
started we warmed up quick. No one else out there. Orange
2/19/02, 6:00pm - 12:30 am, RB south by Buoy 8, 60-65 degrees, calm, 1 gallon,
Attempted to set up at 9-a but already 6-7 boats set up south of it. Current was
moving slowing where we opted to set up and only a few shrimp. Moved north 1/4
mile and reset. Better current but water really cloudy. LOTS of dead grass and
junk moving through. mostly small to medium will a smattering of large.Jim
2/19, No traffic --- No shrimp either.
They ran that one night and havent run since. Right now there are only three
boats on the river in this area and I dont see anyone dipping. Its 7;50 right
now and the tide is running pretty good with that south east wind which is
probably spooking them. Will let you know as soon as I see any action.Maybe they
will run this weekend and you'll get a chance to get out. As for work you can
have my share. As they say, work is for people who dont fish. Thats what makes
retirement so great. Fishkiller
2-20, 7:00pm til 9:30PM, 9-A and north 1/4 mile, cloudy, WINDY, about, 1 guart,
With winds coming out of the south at 15knots plus early in the evening, the
water had a fair chop to it near 9-A. We set up about 80 yards south of it and
worked hard for the few we caught. The chop made it hard to see plus they were
ruinning deep for the most part. Moved north 1/4 miles and rest. Had a short
burst of a dozen or more when we first set but then it died off. Battery started
going dead for some unknown reason, called it a night.Jim
2/20, Oak Hill, Windy, 1 gallon, Started out at the RR Bridge around sunset.
Rough water and only 2 shrimp had us packing up at 8pm. Drove up to Haulover,
where five or six boats were anchored around the bridge. Watched for awhile and
never saw a net go in the water. Proceeded to Lefills and managed a gallon of
mostly smalls.Snookman

02/26 9pm, Haulover, mid 50s, 5 gallons, Waited for my friend to get off work
and we tossed a coin and took the long way around to Haulover, arriving at 9pm.
A boat pulling out said they had a nice night, running good and big. As we were
launching they sent their yound son down with a jumbo to show us. Headed out,
anchored up and started dipping. I now have sinking lights and love shrimping
over them, Thanks Sonny for the plans. We were back at the ramp by 1245am with a
5 gallon bucket of mostly large and jumbos. Awesome night I've been waiting
for.SNOOKMAN
2/26, Riverbreeze, Cool and Windy, 1/4 Gal., Arrived at 12:30
and stayed until 4. Shrimping was very slow and they were mostly mediums. The
only good thing was not much traffic on the river. Oh well, I should have been
there yesterday.Craig
2/26/02 6:30 pm- 12:00, Railroad Bridge, Mid 50's, 2 1/2, We set up at sunset &
didn't see much until 8:30 when some stray jumbos started to show up. At about
10:00 the wind shifted from South to North West & they ran steady till about
midnight, mostly jumbos. I tried out a new frame net & picked up about 10lbs of
jelly fish & 10 shrimp. Not enough current or dumb shrimp. Hawkeye

3/1, Haulover Canal, Windy, About 30 shrimp. Set up before dark and was ready for the steady flow west to east. They were sporadic. Good sized mediums and jumbos but I gave up at midnigh since I hadn't seen a shrimp since about 8:30. I wonder how the other ten boats out there did after midnight. Am I just going home too early? Swashbuckler
3/2 9pm - 2am, Haulover Canal, Very strong wind from the south, 67 - good sized mediums and jumbos, Current was cookin' from west to east - a lot of boats dragging anchors. It took both anchors to hold my Gheenoe bow into the current. Only saw a couple of shrimp between 9 and 11pm - they were sporadic the rest of the night.Steve
3/2/02, Haulover canal, VERY WINDY, 76 SHRIMP MED/JUMBO, For the few that i caught the key was being on the edge of a mud line coming in from the west end. In the mud there were shrimp but you could not see into it more than a couple of inches. However, about 60 feet off the north bank it switched to some clearer(still dirty) water. If you stayed in the mud you had shrimp you could not see. If you were to far into the clear you could see you had no shrimp. this was a night that taught many people the importance of anchor chain. msnsanity
3/2, Haulover,70 windy out of the south, 50 lg. & jumbos, the current was ripping had to anchor with front anchor only. Ginzo

The run started late and lasted about 2 1/2 hours. The mediums are called "jumbos" around River Breeze/Edgewater. It looks like the ISAA is imploding - most of their fishing/shrimping seems to be done on line anyway. Hang in there bro! Bubba
3/8, 10:15-2:30, RB, Low 60's, light SE wind, 2 1/2, Shrimp started right at current change, not fast but steady. Dipped mostly sm/med and got most of the jumbos in the frame net - very deep! Got ready to pack it in about 2:00 when the current slowed, then the jumbos started coming to the top for about 1/2 hour until everything stopped completely. Many too big to get in the sock.Doug

3/22 7pm-12am, Riverbreeze, Upper 50s and north wind, 3 gallons, We dipped 2
dozen before the sun even went down. They ran all night long. We probably could
have caught our limit if it wasn't for the battery dying. Shrimp were medium

3/23 7-1am, Riverbreeze, ne wind, 65 degrees, calm, 3 gallons, Water was
clear...very easy to see the shrimp. Caught 1 gallon small shrimp by the
sandbars, but current was only running on front of the boat and not in the back
and it took us about 2 hours to realize that we were too far from channel. Moved
closer to channel and constantly dipped for 1 hour straight. Shrimp were
everywhere. Mostly mediums as we got closer to channel. Got about a quart in
frame net for the 30 minutes we had it down in the strong current. Always heard
the stories about Oak Hill...it is definately worth the trip out there. We
netted over 2000 shrimp in 3 nights. Gotta love it! Trina

3/25 10pm, Riverbreeze, 3 1/2 gallons, Shrimping was consistant. Better in the Channel. Wife thoughtn a jumbo was coming through about 11:30pm. Turns out some rogue pinched a log over the side of their boat and it made it's way through our lights. Hope some poor soul didn't catch it their box net. Andrew

03/29/02 7:30 til 9:00pm, Riverbreeze, se STRONG wind, 1/2 gallon, Shrimp were running great until the wind picked up. We could not see past a foot. Shrimp were tiny then started running bigger. As soon as tide switched the river was unbearable...choppy...and swells. Many people left to go to Haulover. Some pulled their boats and were waiting for the tide change to go back out. We gave up. Hope to hear how the Haulover people did. Trina and Missy
3/28/2002, 3 miles north of riverbreeze, very nice, warm, water clear, three gallons, put in at the north causeway around 11:30 p.m. Tried the south causeway just after the tide changed. Caught 5 gallons of leaves and no shrimp.. We cruised south to the cut by the blue hole. Shrimp were plentiful, we dipped until 5 a.m. and ended up with 3 gallons of medium to small shrimp, but no jumbos. Good practice for the big run next full moon?? nalagem
3/28, Riverbreeze, 2 1/2 gallons, Out with wife and kids shrimp started running around 2:30 mostly small to medium. Bill

04/03/02, Oak Hill, Calm, 3 1/2, Hit Oak Hill for the past three days. Monday
night was the best. Wind from NW at 5. Shrimp were there from the start but
improved as it got later. Only 8 or so boats anchored. Tues started out with
strong S winds as a small rain cloud went by. It then calmed down. Netted around
31/2 gals mostly in deeper water. Last night was slow but steady. Many boats
out. With two netting at the drop off, worked till the tide quit with 3 1/2
gals. Only about 36 large, one gal mediums and the rest small. It was calm all
night. Rudy
4-3-02, .5 mile south of Riverbreeze, slight south wind early then calm, 4.5

finger mullet.Ted
4/4, 7:30-12:30, RB, Cloudy, 70 degrees, light north wind, 5 gallons, Shrimp
were everywhere when setting up and very steady until about 11:00. Told my boys
we were going to leave by midnight if the shrimp didn't pick up again. Just
before midnight the tide went slack and all hell broke loose, couldn't keep up.
Dipping 5-6 shrimp at a time while 5-6 others swam by. Dipped about a gallon
from 12:00-12:30, then headed home. My boys had a blast (so did I)! Doug
4/4 first dark til 1:30AM, River Breeze, Mild with light winds,
2.5 gallons, Launched before dark and set up in our usual spot south of RB.
Caught a few shrimp on the incoming tide just before dark and then when the tide
shifted they ran fairly well until about 11pm. Hung around for a while but
nothing to keep us there so we headed north to the ramp. On the way we noted
that the people were still dipping as wqe got farther north. Dropped anchor and
caught another 1/2 gallons before calling it a pretty good night. Jim & Linda
April 5, Oakhill, Clear, Cool, Less than 1 gallo9n, 1/2 gallon of small to
medium. About 6 large, no jumbo. The time of year seems right but Friday the 5th
was not the night. The sentiment was the same from 8 other boaters I surveyed.
The wind blowing from the North was a bad sign as it offsets the tide flowing
north trying to get out of Ponce Inlet. As such, I have never seen the outgoing
tide so weak. It was cool and a sweatshirt was required. We got there 8:40 pm as
the tide was supposed to changed. The wind kept boats from turning the other
direction for a while. Shrimp ran on top best actually before the current turned
north, odd. I have never seen so many small shrimp. We restrained from catching
any fingertip sized shrimp. We brought in the frame-net and only had a very
modest double-handful. The dipnet brought in a bit more, all said a 1/2 gallon.
Don't think Saturday night will be worth it, maybe better moon conditions will
change my luck. Looks like I'll spend the rest of the weekend fishing instead of
shrimpin'. Plumber
4/5/02 7:30-1:00, Riverbreeze, 10 mph ne wind, 65degrees, 1.5 gallons, We were over on the east side and there were few shrimp until 10pm. We saw people dipping on west side so moved and that is when we started seeing them. Current change was late due to the wind. It only lasted 2 hrs and was really slow. It started 2 hours late and stopped when it was suppose to. Shrimp were decent size (medium)once we moved. Trina and Andrew
4/5/02 7:00pm, H/C, NE@65deg., 4.5 gallons, Went to Haulover to get out of the wind.Maybe 10 boats out there current was moving real fast almost had to jump in the water to catch my net ,slipped out my hands luckly the frame net caught it. Shrimp were med. to large good night not alot of riff raff out there.Herb
4/6/02 7:30-2:00, Riverbreeze, 5mph NE wind, clear water, 2.5 gallons, Weather
was much nicer than last night! Once the tide changed the smaller shrimp ran
through. Then there was about a 10 minute lull and we thought we were through
and jumbos started popping up everywhere. Got 125 "oak hill" jumbos, the rest

Shrimp started coming in steady at about 11:30 and continued until 2:30. Mixture of small, med, large and about 2 doz jumbos. Was a pretty fair night given the conditions. Ive done worse. Dirty Howie

4/10/02 dark till daylight, Haulover Canal, wind out of se 15 to 20, less than a
gallon, got there at dark and got my favorite spot at the bridge.. the water was
dirty and running as fast as i have seen it run in 46 years but it was running
in the right direction..i believe we missed alot of shrimp because of the murky,
dirty water and they were running deep..caught a keeper red and four keeper
trout and less than a gallon of shrimp, all bigguns..stayed all night and had a
good time..motor man
4/11 7:30 - 1:00am, Haulover, Wind 15 ESE, 17 shrimp, Should have spent more
time fishing. Alot of fish busting finger mullet. Dipped a finger mullet just
before I left - tossed it out there and caught (and released) a 36in redfish.
Water was moving from the river toward the bridge. Steve
4/13, RR bridge, one measly shrimp, decided to hit the rr bridge cause the 528
bridge shrimping has been pitiful, very small to medium there, i wanna cry, have
not hit a good night for months, went to HC last moon twice took only about 4
doz for two nights, now i'm really gonna cry, gonna beg my husband to take me to
riverbreeze this week for the first time, any suggestions as to what nite and
about where to anchor, would be appreciate, thank all, Susan the shrimpin nut

04/18/02 2000-0100, Oak Hill, SE 10, 5 gallons, Shrimp started slow and small, then imporved in size and quantity as the tide moved faster. Better in shallow water than deep. Just about everyone got their limit last night if they worked the whole tide. Mostly small, but a few large and maybe 2 or 3 jumbo. rudy

19 April, RB, nice night with some wind, 3 gal. Ran real good for awhile than slowed. When slack tide came got alot until the tide started in strongly, had bait fish going around our light like they were on the Nascar circuit and that seemed to bring the shrimp up,was a sight to see. Wes & Judy
4/19 4/20, Riverbreeze, light SE wind, 2, 4 gallons, Shrimp ran good right after dark until 9:30 or so then slacked off. Friday evening were mostly all small, Saturday evening were small/medium, only 2 jumbos. Saturday evening they ran strong again at about 2AM when tide turned. How has Haulover been lately? TC
4-19&20th Sunset until midnight, Riverbreeze, SE wind, Friday night was the best I have ever seen the shrimp run. We got 3 gallons of teeny tiny shrimp. We left and they were still running. Saturday we got 2 gallons. People in the channel were dippin' fools, (we decided not to risk the ticket)! We had first time shrimpers on the boat and after 3 hours they were ready for bed, so again we left while the shrimp were running. Still had a great time. We got only 3 "jumbos" the whole weekend. Where did those big shrimps go from 2 weeks ago? Trina and Andrew4
4/20 Shrimp are running thick right as the
tide started out at 8:30pm.
4/20 8:30-12:30, Just south of Riverbreeze, 2.5 gallons, Anchored just south of
the pier on the East side. Shrimp ran good until 11. All small and mediums. Lots

got there around 8:30 people were already dippin, mostly small and a few mediums

4/20/200, RiverBreeze, Wind SE @ Warm, 3 gallons, Shrimp moving steady from 8:30
till 12:30. All small though, the only large things we saw in our lights were a
family of Manatees and a 6-7' gator floating by. 3 of us dipping and someone
always had a net in the water. Was alot of fun even though the shrimp were
small. Pingu
4/22 10:30 p.m to 2:00 a.m. South of Riverbreeze, warm, wind out of SE, 2 gallons, 4/22 South of Riverbreeze from 10:30 pm to 2:00 am. Warm with breeze from SE produced 2 gallons. Very good runs at times. Had much more success in the areas where the trout were jumping. Shrimp of all sizes with most in the small to medium range. People fishing from the dock south of boat ramp were having luck as well catching trout and ladyfish. ---mdmgator
4/22/02, south of RB, warm, light wind, 3 1/2 gallons, Got on the water at 10:45 was kinda slow, but the started to run ok,Tug came through and got re-set up and dipped steady for another 2 hrs, only about 25 total in the frame net, decent night though,3 1/2 gallons. LEATHERMAN

4/23/2002, 1/4 mile south of riverbreeze, Warm, light breeze, misquitoes, 5 Gal, Arrived at 10 PM, tide was already running. Shrimped east side of river south of RB. Slow and small, moved to west side at 1:00AM. Slow and small, around 2:30, they went nuts and ran like crazy. All smalls and meds. Left at 5:00AM with 5 gals of shrimp. Very few went in the frame net, they were all on top. They were still swarming the boat like bees when I left. JohnB
4-23-02, River Breeze, wind E 10 mph, 5 gallonsI haven't seen them run this hard in quite sometime. Get out there before the moon passes or you'll be sorry. bgwillia
4/23, 1/4 ,ile south of RB, Windy, 10-15mph NNE later ENE 65-70º, 5 gallons, Launched about 9pm, and set up our lights and caught about 3-4 dozen before the tide changed. The change actually was delayed a little due to the strength of the winds. Clarity was good. Debris was limited. They ran from small-mdiums to large with no JUMBOS :(( The effect of the tide change actually was seen about 1AM when the wind and the tide turned to boat around. At times they ran so hard you could not keepup. We could dip as many as 10-15 without lifting the net. These spurts ran for 5-10 minutes and then would stop. We left at 4AM with our bucket full and the shrimp still running strong. Too bad there aren't any 'carry overs' from days when you only got 1 gallon!!!! Jim & Linda
4/23, 8:30-11:00, Mather's Bridge/Eau Gallie, Strong NE wind, 4 dozen jumbos, I know 4 dozen does not seem like a lot...however this whole year the most we ever got was 6 around here. The current was running north to south and the wind was helping to push the current. We are going to try again tonight and hope that the strong East wind doesn't interfere! It would be nice if more people posted reports from this area! It was fun catching those big boys and not having to drive an hour to do it! Trina and Missy
4/24, 528 bridge at indian river, S/SE 10-15, 150 shrimp, used traps and dip net, caught all with traps, mixed bag again, small med and large and 6 jumbos, first pull at 9:30 was the best for size left at 12:30 and where still running, this is the week folks, tell the boss you are sick Happy Shrimpin, Susan
4-24-02, River Breeze, wind S-SE 12 70 deg., 5 gallons, IT'S ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bgwillia
4/24 12:00-4:30 a.m.riverbreeze, wind NE at 10, 70 degrees, 5 gallons! Started dipping shrimp steadily around 12:30. Once the current picked up they were boiling everywhere. Two of us had no trouble at all getting our limit, and we turned off the lights with them still swarming! They were mostly smalls, a fair amount of mediums, and a couple of large. Makes it worth the 2 hour drive we have every time we come up from Port St. Lucie! Junior
04/25, Oakhill, windy from south, 3.5 gallons, Been a good week at oakhill for many from what I hear over there. We got to oakhill (lefils) at 1:00 a.m. Thursday night ( technically would be Friday morning 4/26) Fished for a while and then around 2:30 they ran very well. We woulda got 5 gals if son had been more into it than his fishing. But that is ok. Loved watching him reel in 20 inch ladies. We were off the east side of channel in shallow water.Ricker
4/25 Haulover Canal, s wind 10 mph, 1 gallon, It was full of grass. Got 10 gallons of grass to our 1 off shrimp but they were large mostly. We could have went to Oakhill but wasn't into dipping smalls. Not too bad for having gottn over major surgery and a great way to help in my rehabilitation. Lots of boats out there for a Thursday night. Jethro
4/26 1:30am - 5:00am, South of Riverbreeze, light wind from the south, 5 gallons, They began running about 2:00 and it was crazy for a while. Lot of grass and the water was murky but there were so many it didn't matter. Mostly mediums some larges but no Eau Gallie Jumbos. Heard they were running on the incomming tide right after dark also. Also had some joker with a generator and "shuttle landing" lights come up way to close. His lights reflected off the water right into anyone else in their path. Great night, especially when the generator ran out of gas. Marty Swindle
4/26 1:00 AM to 5 AM, River Breeze, Wind S, 5 mph, Water 80 F, 1 gallon, Beautiful Night 1/4 mile South of the ramp at River Breeze Park. Dipped a few on the East side of the channel. Then spent the rest of night dipping along the seawall on the West side. Got about a gallon in an hour between 3:30 and 4:30. Action stopped about 5:00 AM. ironring58
4/24/02 9:00-11:30, Mather's Bridge/Eau Gallie, Strong SE wind with a S to N current, 100 shrimps, I guess that the jumbo shrimp have finally arrived down south here. We saw one about every five minutes. Going out tonight...went to Pineda last night for about 30 min and saw nothing. Concluded that Pineda is not going to produce much this year! Thinkin' about hitting Haulover tomorrow night. Also, heard from about 5 different people that 528 causeway is the place to be with all the construction. Trina and Missy

4/26/02 9-12pm, Mather's Bridge/Eau Gallie, SE 10mph then flattened out later, 3 dozen, It ran a little slower tonight. No one seemed to be dipping much. The moon hid behind the clouds all night. Gonna try it again tonight! Trina and Missy
4/27 Sat. nite, Haulover, 4 awesome gallons,
finally had the nite i was dreaming of, they started running right after dark
and slowed around 11:00, mostly LARGE -Extra large the shrimper next to us said
he left friday nite with 5 gallons and had left by 10:45, it was constant
dipping, had so much fun
Happy shrimpin everyone, Susan
4/27 8pm - 3am, Haulover, breezy, 5 GALLONS, Finally! I had a good night. Got there a little late and it was crowded. Had to wait until others got their 5 gallons and left before I could move into a good spot. A mix of medium, large, and jumbo - mostly large. There were small ones coming through too but I was being picky. Great night. I also overheard others saying they were not running as good as the night before. Current was heading east from the Indian River. Steve
4/27/02 8:30-11:00, Mather's Bridge/Eau Gallie, SE windy, 5 dozen, While you were all out at Haulover catching your limit, we were at Mather's catching ourselves 60 jumbos! We are bummed we didin't go to Haulover, because that was our plan all week! We will be there tonight though! I am thrilled for Susan...she has been working hard to find the shrimp! :) Trina and Andrew
4/27, Pineda, SE 15 75deg, Wind was blowing and the shrimp were not moving, got about 2 dozen all JUMBO. 4/27 10-12, Mathers Bridge, SE 13 75 deg, Got there about ten people were already leaving, got another 2 dozen large, some Jumbo. Very slow!!! karl
4/27 2-6AM, RB, barely covered the bottom of the bucket, launched at 2AM just
before hi-tide. Full moon, nice night. Lots of boats on the water. Went 1/2 mile
south of the ramp on east side, next to the green buoy.
A few shrimp up to 3AM then stopped until we left at 6AM. Mediums. Thought for
sure we'd nail them based on the reports on the previous days. So much for the
full-moon, hi-tide theory on that night. We'll gettem next time! rob
4/28/02 Dark til 11:30, Haulover, Breezy SSE, 2.5 gallons, They were definately running. Mostly medium to large. Have seen them thicker through there though. Guy in front of us closer to the trees must have limited by himself. Sort of felt like we were in the wrong spot all night. Moved closer to the trees and saw tons! Lot of fun! Looking forward to the next full moon...it will be the last! Happy Shrimping! Trina and Andrew
4/29 8:30 - 1:00am, Haulover, Wind out of the NW, 1.5 Gallons, Pretty good night - they were still running when I left - hated to leave. I think it would have been better if the wind had been out of the S or SW. It took a while for the current to start moving.Steve
April 20 thru april 29, Lopez vicinity, fair, warm, average of 3 gasllons, We camped out for 10 days in the lagoon and dipped every night through the full moon phase. We averaged 3 gallons a night with the best night being the night before the full moon(the 26th) That night we dipped 4 gallons and the size was excellent.. Mostly Extra large with lots of jumbos mixed in. Excellent camping trip..Nalagem

5/2 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.south of riverbreeze, warm, light wind, four gallons, Got set up about 10 p.m. Tide was not running that strong. Dipping was slow but consistent.Something under the boat was chasing the jumbos up from the deep and into dipping range. We ended up with mostly extra large and jumbo shrimp with a gallon of mediums mixed in. This was one of our best trips this season..Nalagem

5/3, Dark - Midnight, RB, Started windy as hell, ended still & hot, 2.5, Got on the water at 7:30, wind was blowing a gale out of the south and the current was ripping. Shrimp started very slow. Picked up as the wind died down. Steady from about 9:30 - 11:00 but never very fast. Mostly mediums, some large & some small. Water was very dirty and shrimp were hard to see. Got about a gallon in the frame net, the rest dipping.Doug
5/4/02 9-11pm, Mathers, SSE 10mph, 5 dozen JUMBOS, There wasn't a gallon of
shrimp to be found like last night. Didn't stay that long because of punk kids
trying to fish off the bridge into our lights while smacking their lures into
the boat. Jumbos as usual. They were running straight at the boat rather than
off of the fenders like usual Trina and Andrew
5/10/02, Haulover Canal, windy, 2-3 doz. Got set up under the bridge before dark. Shrimping very slow but were also very large. Had 2-3 doz. by 1AM, mostly exlarge and jumbos. 5/25 12 - 5 am, Oak Hill, light east wind, 2-3 gallons, Got 2-3
gallons of very small and small shrimp, just north of Lopez where we camped. It
was a good night and a great weekend, even if the owner of lopez charged an
additional 2$ per night for each infant we had (3 infants). Reasoning was that
they would flush the toilet and wash their hands too. My daughter and the other
two kids, has yet to flush a toilet since they are still in diapers. Oh well,
will probably go somewhere else next time that is less greedy. Sheesh! Christian
5/27 1 - 5 am, Oak Hill, light east wind, 1 (maybe gallon)maybe 1 gallon of

5/29/02---8:30pm to 10:00pm, Eau Gallie relief bridge, ESE wind 5-10mph, 2 dozen jumbos, Perched on the south side of relief bridge a little before dark. Despite having to sight and dip in the dark (our lantern malfunctioned!), we still managed to pull out 2 dozen jumbos (5-6 inches long). The wind and the current seemed to come to a complete stop a bit after 10pm and so did the shrimp..... SuzieQ
6/4/02 1030p to 1230a, Riverbreeze, 80 deg ese 10-15mph, Gallons??? Well, it appears that the end of the season is here. I should have heeded the lack of reports and stayed home. 7/14 Hearing reports of small to medium shrimp being caught at Reed Canal in Daytona this weekend with castnets. Could tell things werent going to change, wind wasnt letting up enough for current to switch, packed it in and will wait till the next full moon. When i was young we could catch a bucketfull of crabs in three hours working grassy flats almost any where in the river if it wasnt too cold.Where in the hell are all the crabs? Have they gone to deep water already? Any body with an idea pls post. Killian

11/27/2002, North of River Breeze, Light North wind, 12 Shrimp, Packed up the kids and shrimped from 7:30 till about 11:00. Tide wasn't moving real fast and the water was pea green. Couldn't see them unless they were right on top of the water. I didn't see anyone else dipping a whole bunch. First trip of the year was a pretty night on the water though. Alot of boats anchored in the channel and a few running around without lights. Also saw a several people gigging flounder, don't know if the got any though. JohnB
11\29 12aaam till5am, river breeze, about 50 degs, wind about10 knots, 2 gallons, nice night was at the edge of the channel, most of the night ,but did better in the middle at the end,bad day fishing is better then a good day at work. tony
Friday, 11/29/2002, Sebastian Inlet, 50 degrees, cool & clear, slight wind, 63 shrimp, I got excited to go shrimping again just from reading Jethro's homepage. I'd been over 15 years since I last went "dippin". I recruited an old friend, spent the day repairing & testing lanterns, nets,& making reflectors.(very difficult to find Coleman lantern GENERATORS, & they don't run worn a darn with a diry one) The tide ran out from 5:30 to 11:00 PM, when we left. A beautiful night out in Gods playground, a good friend to shoot the bull & compete with, and an old familiar spot. Shrimp were spotty at best, mostly small, ran 1-3 shrimp in short "bursts", then 10-15 minutes of nothing. Caught 63 in all, only about a dozen large. One third were in a frame net and the other 2/3 in 2 dipnets. However, I did catch the First Shrimp, and the Largest Shrimp(a JUMBO), so I won both of the competitions we had amongst ourselves for the night. GO SHRIMPING, its fun and rewarding, for the appetities of both your stomach and your soul! The Can AM Kid
12/1, Titusville - RR bridge, moderate N then light NW, 30 - shrimp, 12/1 dark - 10:30. Fell for the BS report in the friday Orlando Slantinel. Went to Titusville - RR bridge for the "big shrimp run - peaking over the weekend" - I think they just make this crap up. We were the only boat out - cool 48 degrees with a stout N wind - then laid down to light NW. Tons of trout under the lights. Shrimp showed some sign of happening - then the wind died and the water stopped moving. Couple dozen shrimp - all nice ones. Scott
12/1, RR Bridge, Wind N- NW 5-10mph 45deg. 28shrimp, The wind was whipping when we first set up but died down by 9:00pm. Water movement was very slow. It was hard to dip the shrimp before the trout nailed them but the ones we did get were all jumbos. So much for that "big run" that the Sentinel predicted. None the less, any night out on the water.... Hawkeye
12/4 Haulover Canal, s wind air 68º water 63º, 3 shrimp, Current was slow and lots of phosphorescence. The only other boat got 3 also. Had to take the long way there since its closed from the north. A rocket went off around 10 so that was the stint of our trip.

12/10/02, Oak Hill, 100 good sized shrimp, several Jumbos, The Insane Shrimp Posse survived another expedition with only minor injuries. Everything was going fine until an angry Porpoise got caught in our box net. The box net was tied to the cooler and Clammy had a case of Milwaukees Best in there for weight. The cooler went flying out of the boat and Clammy went after it. I picked Clammy and the cooler up about a mile down stream. Anyone want Porpoise fillets? Shrimp Slayer

We got almost 4 gallons of good sized shrimp. There was only one other boat dumb enough to be out there with us. Gary Fishman

12/20 1200-0430, Oak Hill-Lefils, Breezy out of the south and fairly mild, One gallon, My daughter and I headed out earlier than expected Thursday night planning on shrimping Oak Hill, but checking T'ville and Haulover on the way. Not much going on in either place, so we ended up at Lefils around 1130p. We picked a shrimp here and there waiting for the tide at 145a. It was after 3a and the bottom of the bucket still wasn't covered. A short bit later they started to run, not crazy, but enough to get a gallon. Mixed catch, with quite a few large shrimp Snookman
12/20 1:30 - 4:30, South of Riverbreeze, Wind from the south, Gallons? You're kidding right? Spent last night discussing the benifits of lights that hung from the boat vs lights that sit on the bottom. This, of course, was in anticipation of the run that never came.Started out on the west side of the channel got about 8 then moved south and to the east side of the channel. I doubled my take. I got 16. I'm not talking dozen here!. 16 total. Didn't look like anyone was getting any. Apparently, the shrimp were having a holiday get together and we weren't invited. Marty
12-23-02, HC, About thirty shrimp from 9:00 to 1:00. All Jumbos. Most I have seen since spring. Kevin\

12/26/2002, Riverbreeze, Cold and Windy around 40 deg. 2-1/2
gallons, They were pretty steady all night, we dipped most of them deep. Birdman
12/27 7:30 to 11:00, Riverbreeze, light north wind 50 deg. Two gallons of good size Oak Hill Shrimp. Shrimp were running deep and were very skittish. Mike
12/27/2002, Riverbreeze, Not much wind, 50 deg. 2 gallons, Started out pretty
slow, mostly running deep again. They picked up pretty good late but we were
fighting net problems. Good strong current and deep dippin = 1 broken net pole,
almost broke the second one too. We only had one net working for most of the
good run. I recommend changing your poles to heavier gauge stainless or
aluminum. Birdman + Tad,
12/28 7:30 to 12:00, Riverbreeze, light north wind 38 deg, 2 1/2 gallons of good mix of jumbo to normal size Oak Hill shrimp. Very cold! Shrimp were deep, Very few other people reported doing very well. Mike
28 Dec, 7:30-10:30pm, Eau Gallie Causeway, Wind variable@3kts, Temp around 45F,
None, There were about a dozen people out on the low bridge (east end). We
didn't see a single shrimp, or even any significant numbers of smaller fish.
Where the heck did all the shrimp go??? Does anyone else have any advice about
how to catch these suckers? :-) Don
12/30/02 11:00-4:00, Riverbreeze, Calm wind 60 deg. 1 1/2 gal. Put in a little south of ramp. Water was already moving north. Did not see many shrimp in the 2 hours we were in that lousy spot. Decided to move south about 1/2 mile from ramp and did much better. Shrimp were smaller, but at least we were dippin'. Missed alot due to our lack of practice since last season. Thank God for the frame net!!! We got about 1 quart of jumbo shrimp out of the frame net. Shrimp were running pretty deep! For the first trip of the season we were pretty excited with our catch!!!
